Apply Online

Before submitting an application:

  • You may not apply directly to the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. You must have received a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario through your IRCC online account before you can apply to the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) under this stream.
  • You must submit your online application to the OINP within 45 calendar days from the date the NOI letter was issued to you. Applications submitted outside the 45 calendar day period will not be processed.
  • You must register for a ONe-key account and create an ID and password. A ONe-key account gives you secure access to Ontario Government programs and services.
  • You should gather all relevant paper work and supporting documentation required for your application. Ensure that any document that is not in English or French has been translated and certified, and notarized if required.

Filling out an online application will take up to 2 hours to complete. Once you begin, you may save your progress and complete the application at a later time.

The application fee costs $1,500. The fee covers the cost of processing your application and is non-refundable once you submit your application.

Note: If you receive and accept an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from IRCC or a nomination from another province or territory after you have already applied to OINP, your application fee to OINP will not be refunded. Application fees are non-refundable even if an application is withdrawn or denied, as they cover OINP’s cost of processing applications.

To help ensure the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program’s (OINP) e-filing system can accommodate high volumes of users, changes are being made to the online application process.

Using a Representative

If you plan to authorize a representative to complete your online application, your representative must first register for a ONe-key account. They must also register as a representative.  For more information on authorizing a representative, please refer to the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Application Guide.
