Lambton County

Lambton County

The County of Lambton, located in Southwestern Ontario, is home to more than 128,000 people.

Whether you seek bright beaches, calm countryside, exciting city streets, or safe, small towns, it can all be found in Lambton. Its unique setting bordering the United States, with direct access to major highways and waterways, has made Lambton a location of choice for global petro-chemical industry and an expanding number of other companies.

In so many ways, it’s water that defines so much of what Sarnia-Lambton brings its residents and visitors. Often referred to as “Blue Water Country”, from the luxuriant beaches of Grand Bend, all the way along the coast of Lake Huron to Sarnia’s Canatara Park, the opportunities to experience the beaches of Lambton County are nearly endless. Cruise boats, sailing, beaches and fishing make Sarnia-Lambton a popular vacation destination.

Sarnia-Lambton is also the perfect place to call home. Affordable housing, small-town friendliness, bustling commercial districts, an abundance of recreational activities, a community college, a thriving arts scene and the construction of a new community hospital make Sarnia a perfect place for every age group.

Ipperwash Beach provides wide sandy beaches with a shallow shoreline.
